New Delhi . The ongoing family dispute regarding the property of late industrialist Sanjay Kapoor is once again in the news. In this matter, now his mother Rani Kapoor has filed a new application in the Supreme Court, in which she has demanded that Sanjay Kapoor’s third wife Priya Sachdev Kapoor and other related parties be stopped from interfering in the functioning of ‘RK Family Trust’. Rani Kapoor said in her petition that until the mediation process initiated by the court is completed, no major decisions or changes in operations related to the trust should be made. Along with this, Rani Kapoor has also protested against the notice of May 8 issued by Raghuvanshi Investment Private Limited and demanded a ban on the board meeting to be held on May 18. This company reportedly owns a large portion of the disputed family estate.
Rani Kapoor says that the purpose of this meeting is to appoint additional directors on the board, which can further escalate the existing dispute and affect the control over the assets.

Actually, after the death of Sanjay Kapoor, the dispute regarding control of property and trust is increasing in the family. Rani Kapoor alleges that after her son’s death, control over the trust and the company was gradually changed and she was kept away from the property.
Rani Kapoor claims that the documents prepared regarding ‘RK Family Trust’ were prepared without her knowledge and consent. They allege that transparency was not maintained in the decisions of the trust and companies and their role was ignored.
Another important aspect in this case is that the names of actress Karisma Kapoor’s children are also involved in it. He has also challenged the alleged will of Sanjay Kapoor and has talked about his rights in the property.
