Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has made an important claim regarding the US-Iran deal. He said that an agreement between Iran and America can be reached within 24 hours, because both the countries have agreed on the terms of the peace deal. In a social media post giving information about this possible agreement, Shahbaz also tagged US President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio as well as Iranian President Massoud Pazeshkian and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

He added, “We want to thank the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their continued commitment during the negotiations, and we express our heartfelt gratitude to our brothers in the region for their support. We are confident that this historic peace agreement will lay a strong foundation for lasting peace.”
A day earlier, on Friday, Shehbaz Sharif had posted an update saying that the terms of the peace deal have been agreed between the US and Iran. In that post, Shehbaz commented, “Amidst Pakistan’s vigorous mediation efforts for a peace agreement, we are fully aware of the persistent misinformation being spread by those who want to derail this agreement.”
“We can confirm that a final, mutually agreed draft of the peace agreement has been finalized, and Pakistan is now working closely with both sides to finalize next steps.” “We have never been this close to a peace agreement.”
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi had indicated progress in the talks, saying, “Such a consensus has never been reached before on the Islamabad agreement.” In a social media post, he further said, “The media should refrain from speculating about the agreement until it is finalised. As per our responsible and transparent policy, all information will be shared with the public at the appropriate time.”
