Schools are considered to be temples of learning, but sometimes their sanctity gets spoiled by the actions of some teachers. A similar incident has come to light from a Zilla Parishad school in Shekapur, Mahur tehsil of Nanded district of Maharashtra. A teacher came to school in an inebriated state. The incident came to light after the students informed their parents about the disturbance taking place in the classroom. After this the parents went to school and were shocked to see the teacher roaming around the classroom drunk, shouting loudly and doing strange things. He made a video of the entire incident.

According to reports, the name of the teacher is Anant Verma. He was seen dancing during class, making strange gestures and misbehaving with children and others. He was so drunk that he was not able to control himself properly. The children got scared of this situation and went home and told their parents about their ordeal. This behavior of the teacher during class raises serious questions on the standards of education in the school and the safety of children. During the incident, the teacher was so drunk that he dropped the water bottle kept on the table, causing water spillage. The children were making noise, but the teacher was not able to hear anything.

Parental opposition and concern
When the parents reached school, they found the teacher in the same condition as described by the children. Parents expressed deep anger over how the safety of their children could be left in the hands of such a teacher. He demanded strict action from the school management and administration. Parents said that if a teacher comes to school in this condition, then the mental and physical safety of the children is in danger. The parents have demanded immediate suspension of the teacher.
