Dig. As per the instructions of the State Election Commission, the district administration is working with full diligence regarding the “Special Intensive Revision Program” going on in the district. With an aim to give impetus to the campaign at the grassroots level and ensure accuracy of voter lists, Deputy District Electoral Officer (DDEO) Rajkumar Kaswan conducted an intensive tour of Kaman assembly constituency on Thursday. Kaswan reached Part No. 164 and Part No. 196 of Kaman Assembly and conducted a surprise inspection of the work being done by the Booth Level Officers (BLOs). During this time, he took detailed stock of the progress of the work of door-to-door distribution of enumeration forms (EF) and genealogy mapping of voters. The Deputy District Election Officer gave clear instructions to the BLOs and supervisors present on the spot to give top priority to this work. He said, “Our only aim is to prepare a clean, pure and error-free voter list. Ensure that no eligible voter is deprived of registration nor the name of any ineligible one is included in the list.” He instructed to maintain complete accuracy in filling the forms.
Dedicated personnel will monitor: Kaswan directed that a dedicated personnel from each ERO/AERO office will continuously contact these BLOs and get reports, to ensure that all the BLOs are meeting their daily targets. As per the instructions of Deputy District Election Officer Rajkumar Kaswan, the voter awareness campaign has been intensified in the district. All the Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) visited their respective areas and established direct communication with the general public. The officials briefed the citizens in detail about the importance of the Special Intensive Vetting Program and appealed to them to ensure maximum participation in this campaign.
In the same sequence, field visits were also made in the urban area by the Electoral Registration Officer (City). He observed the counting form distribution work and gave necessary directions to the personnel engaged in the work to speed up the process and cover all the voters. The Deputy District Election Officer has appealed to all the citizens of the district to provide their active cooperation in this important work of democracy.
This campaign will run till 4 December 2025:
He said, “All voters should fill the Enumeration Form (EF) given by their BLO carefully. The filled form along with a latest color photograph and necessary information must be submitted to your BLO by December 4.” Kaswan also informed that the purpose of this verification program is not only to add new voters but also to verify and purify the data of existing voters.
Families are being linked through genealogical mapping, which will facilitate voters in future. He urged all citizens to fulfill their responsibility in this national task and become partners in the creation of a transparent voter list.
