Sirsa. Keeping in view the public interest and passenger facilities, MP Kumari Selja has written a letter to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnavi demanding stoppage of Tripura Sundari Express at Bhattu station, extension of Jodhpur-Hisar Express to Sirsa and operation of Amrit Bharat Express from Firozpur to Nanded (Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib). MP Kumari Selja has written in a letter to the Railway Minister that the stoppage of Tripura Sundari Express (train number 14619/14620) passing through her parliamentary constituency should be ensured at Bhattu Kalan station (District Fatehabad Haryana), in this context the people of the area have submitted a memorandum to him demanding stoppage of the train. Its stoppage will prove beneficial for the people of the area going to Delhi on Monday and the passengers returning from Delhi on Saturday. He has also written in the letter that during the stay of Acharya Shri Mahashraman, the 11th Guru of Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi, train number 14891-14892 Jodhpur-Hisar Express should be extended up to Sirsa. In this context, a demand letter has been given by Haryana Provincial Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabha.
It was said in the letter that during the stay of Acharya Shri Mahashraman, a large number of devotees, followers and family members will come to Sirsa to have darshan of Acharya Shri Mahashraman. With the extension of this train till Sirsa, passengers will get the convenience of transportation. Also, local citizens and businessmen will get great relief.
Along with this, MP Kumari Selja mentioned Firozpur-Jalalabad-Fazilka-Shri Muktsar Sahib-Kotkapura-Bathinda-Sirsa-Hisar-Churu-Jaipur-Kota-Nagda-Ujjain-Indore-Dewas-Maksi-Bhopal-Itarsi-Harda-Khandwa-Akola-Bhusaval-Washim-Hingoli-Purna-Nanded-Sachkhand Hazur. A request has also been made to run Amrit Bharat Express train between Sahib and Maharashtra. He says that for a long time, lakhs of citizens, industries, businessmen and especially the Sikh and Jain communities of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra have been waiting for a new train on an important railway route. The said railway route connects many religious places, major industrial cities and population-dense areas.
As per the continuous demand of the citizens, it is a humble request to start the new Amrit Bharat Express on the following routes – Firozpur – Jalalabad – Fazilka – Sri Muktsar Sahib – Kotakpura – Bathinda – Sirsa – Hisar – Churu – Jaipur – Kota – Nagda – Ujjain – Indore – Dewas – Maksi – Bhopal – Itarsi – Harda – Khandwa – Akola – Bhusaval – Washim – Hingoli – Purna – To be run on Nanded – Sachkhand Hazur Sahib, Maharashtra route. With the running of this new train, it will become easier for millions of devotees to reach religious places, especially Sri Hazur Sahib, Sri Muktsar Sahib.
