Sonam Wangchuk called the resignation of the Education Minister a victory for democracy, Abhijeet Dipke said - we did it

New Delhi . Social activist Sonam Wangchuk on Saturday described the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as a victory for democracy. Sonam Wangchuk posted on social media platform X and wrote that this is a victory for democracy. This is the victory of peace, patience and perseverance. Congratulations CJP, thanks to Jane Ji and all the citizens of the country for abandoning the fear and fear of fear and raising their voice from every corner of the country. He added, “From accountability to reform.”
Wangchuk was on hunger strike for 26 days. They were demanding strict action against the repeated paper leaks and examination irregularities and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
On July 23, after receiving written assurance from the NDA government, the activists ended their strike at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram in the presence of Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, Dharmendra Pradhan announced his resignation. He said he was deeply saddened by the events of the last 10 days and wanted to ensure that anti-national forces do not take advantage of the situation arising out of the controversy over examination irregularities.
While submitting his resignation, Dharmendra Pradhan reiterated his commitment towards youth and education and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his support. He described this as a step taken to protect the sanctity of the examination and the future of the students.
CJP posted on social media platform X and wrote that victory of democracy. It was accompanied by a video in which protesters were seen celebrating Pradhan’s resignation.
Addressing the protesters after Pradhan’s resignation, organization founder Abhijeet Dipke said that we did it. Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned. What did they say that there are no resignations in this government? We say the world bends, it just takes the right people.
He said this is for him, for all those students who lost their lives because of Dharmendra Pradhan. He said that Pradhan’s resignation is proof that if you people are not afraid, if you people do not bow down before this government, then we can take anyone’s resignation.
He further said that there is no need to fear. This is democracy and we have to raise our voices to hold them accountable. They are in power because of us.
