'Soon agreement with Iran...' Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir reached Tehran, Trump gave a big statement

Efforts to start a second round of talks between America and Iran are intensifying. Amid these developments, Donald Trump claimed on Thursday (April 16) that Iran has agreed to hand over its stock of enriched uranium. He said that after six weeks of fighting, the two sides are very close to reaching a peace agreement. Speaking to reporters at the White House, and referring to enriched uranium, Trump commented, “They have agreed to return the ‘nuclear dust’ to us.” The US has long said that Tehran could potentially use the material to make nuclear weapons. Trump further said, “They have agreed on almost every point. Now, they just have to sit down with a pen to finalize the agreement.”

**What did Trump say about the Iran deal?**

Meanwhile, Trump also indicated a positive outlook regarding a possible deal with Iran. He further said that there is a very good chance of reaching an agreement. He also mentioned that if a deal with Iran is successfully reached—and if it is finalized in Islamabad—he may personally visit Pakistan. Trump expressed confidence that Iran had agreed to terms it had long opposed—terms that include giving up any intention to develop nuclear weapons and surrendering nuclear material. He also mentioned that the agreement would include reopening the Strait of Hormuz. However, there has been no official reaction from Iran on this matter so far.

Trump indicated that he did not believe it would be necessary to extend the existing two-week ceasefire to finalize a deal with Iran. He stressed that a solution would be found very soon. However, he added that he would extend the ceasefire if necessary. Trump commented, “They’ve agreed to almost everything. Now, they just have to come to the table and [समझौते पर] Have to sign.
