Sirsa. Sirsa MP, former Union Cabinet Minister, Congress Working Committee (CWC) member and All India Congress Committee General Secretary Kumari Selja said that the recent election results have made it clear that the people of South India have completely rejected the policies of the BJP. Talking to journalists, he said that BJP made efforts at every level, but the public expressed faith in the politics of social harmony, development and democratic values. Answering the questions asked by journalists, Selja said that in this election the entire country saw that the people of South India have clearly rejected the policies of BJP. Despite all efforts, BJP did not get support. In Kerala, Congress government has been formed under the leadership of UDF, in Tamil Nadu also BJP has not received the trust of the people. This is a clear indication that the people of South India stand with the politics of development, social harmony and democratic values. This time in Tamil Nadu, the people have provided an opportunity to a new leadership and new thinking, the Congress Party has also supported it, and we hope that the shortfall in numbers will soon be filled and a stable and public-friendly government will be formed there. Taking aim at the BJP, MP Kumari Selja said that the BJP is only doing politics of publicity and polarization, whereas the public now wants answers on the real issues of employment, inflation, education and social brotherhood. The MP said that the election results of South India are a political message to the entire country that politics that protects democracy and the Constitution is getting public support. Kumari Selja said that the Congress Party will continue to strongly raise public issues and work to advance social justice, democratic values and development-based politics in the country.
