The case of theft of Prasad from Ram temple has become a topic of discussion not only in Ayodhya but in the entire country. Both the ruling party and the opposition are blaming each other for this alleged theft. There are reports that in an important meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the resignations of Champat Rai (General Secretary) and Anil Mishra (Member) were accepted, while at the same time, a war of words started on Twitter between Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and BJP MP Nishikant Dubey. Nishikant Dubey had retweeted a post asking, “Was Tinu not talking to Tipu?” In this question, it was said that Tinu Yadav, who had accused him of stealing prasad from Ram temple, was in constant touch with Akhilesh. In response to Dubey’s retweet, Akhilesh Yadav also threatened him with legal action if he did not delete the post.
“Was Tinu not talking to Tipu?”
A news circulating on social media claims that police investigation has revealed that Tinu Yadav was in touch with Akhilesh Yadav and used to talk to him once or twice a day. It is alleged that just a day before his arrest, Tinu Yadav had talked to Akhilesh Yadav thrice on phone. This raised questions over the nature of her contact with Akhilesh, which is being considered sensational and worthy of investigation. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey brought the issue to the fore by retweeting this claim and asking “Was Tinu not talking to Tipu?”. This retweet angered Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and he threatened Dubey with legal action if he did not delete the post.
“Delete the tweet, otherwise you will have to face legal action for years…” – Akhilesh Yadav
In a post on “Out of respect for the icon of religion Lord Ram as well as keeping in mind social decorum, civility and parliamentary traditions, we are giving 10 minutes to the BJP MP to delete this false tweet/post.” **If post is not deleted, a formal complaint will be filed**
Akhilesh further said, “If the post is not deleted, a formal complaint will be filed against him immediately. This warning is also to all those who have spread this lie; they should also immediately remove it from social media and apologize publicly, else be prepared for legal action. They should remember that BJP members are not actually loyal to anyone; when they have to make repeated rounds of the court, no colleague or friend will come to their aid. After all, How can people who have not been loyal to God be expected to be loyal to their fellow human beings?”
