Driver absconded from the spot, police started searching
In earnest. An elderly woman was seriously injured in a road accident that took place in Kalyan Colony of the town on Wednesday. According to the information, Prem Kumari (62), wife of Parshuram Sharma, resident of Kalyan Colony, was going on the road as usual when a speeding Eeco car hit her hard. After the accident, the driver fled from the spot along with the vehicle. The local people immediately took the woman to Bayana Hospital, where after first aid the doctors confirmed a fracture in the leg. When his condition became critical, he was referred to Bharatpur for better treatment.
On receiving information about the incident, Bayana police reached the spot and started searching for the absconding driver. Police have registered the case and started investigation.
