New Delhi. India’s leading low-cost airline SpiceJet has announced a major expansion of its network for the winter season. The airline will launch several new domestic and international routes in the months of November and December 2025. This expansion includes destinations like Phuket (Thailand), Najaf (Iraq), Mumbai, Varanasi and Udaipur. The company aims to not only strengthen its services but also provide better connectivity and more choices to passengers.
According to SpiceJet, the move is part of its strategy to increase its share in India’s aviation market and maintain its place as a major player in the competitive environment.
SpiceJet’s new flights in domestic routes
Mumbai-Bengaluru route: two new flights a day
From November 1, SpiceJet will start twice-daily flights between Mumbai and Bengaluru, while a third service will also be added from November 15.
This new connection between the two cities will bring relief to corporate travelers and the business community, as this route is one of the busiest air corridors in India.
Chennai-Bengaluru: New link in South India
SpiceJet will start daily flights between Chennai-Bengaluru from 8 November 2025. This new service is part of the airline’s South India expansion strategy, which will ease mobility in technology and industrial areas.
Given the large presence of IT companies and startups in both the cities, this route will be very useful for passengers.
Jaipur got double connection
Now new flights from Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur to Mumbai and Guwahati twice a day will start from November 7. These connections will not only boost Rajasthan’s tourism sector but will also open up new opportunities for business travellers.
The tourism industry of Jaipur hopes that these routes will lead to a significant increase in the number of passengers in the winter season.
Udaipur and Jaisalmer: New flights from desert to sky
SpiceJet is going to provide direct connectivity to Udaipur from Delhi and Mumbai from November 7. This step will prove to be important in connecting Rajasthan’s Tourist Triangle (Jaipur-Udaipur-Jaisalmer) by air. In this series, a new flight service from Jaisalmer to Delhi will also start from November 15. The desert city Jaisalmer, which is known for its forts, mansions and golden architecture, will now be directly connected to the capital.
International Routes: Phuket and Najaf also included
SpiceJet has also announced that it is expanding its international network to two new cities –
Phuket (Thailand) and
Najaf (Iraq) — will also be included in its flight list.
Phuket is the favorite beach destination of Indian travelers in South-East Asia, while Najaf holds special importance in terms of religious tourism.
The company says that with these new international routes, Indian passengers will get cheap and direct access to international religious and tourist destinations.
SpiceJet’s strategy and market impact
According to aviation experts, this expansion of SpiceJet is a strong sign towards its revival in the Indian market. After several quarters of challenges and limited fleet operations, the company is now looking to increase market share with new aircraft and stable network strategy. The airline has said that this step has been taken keeping in mind the increasing demand of passengers, festive season, and winter tourism.
This new schedule of SpiceJet shows that the airline is once again re-establishing its position in the Indian aviation sector. With a strong presence on domestic routes and new flights in international markets, the company is taking major steps towards improving the passenger experience in the coming months.
