The stabbing incident that took place late last night during Holi celebrations in the capital Raipur has raised questions on law and order. On receiving information that a young man was lying soaked in blood near the railway track, the police reached the spot and immediately took him to the hospital. The incident is being reported from Azad Chowk police station area.
The injured youth has been identified as Roshan Dhruv, 22, resident of Durg. According to initial information, he was found unconscious at the time of the incident. He suffered serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. Doctors are monitoring his condition.
Panic has spread in the area after the incident. Local people say that such incidents are a matter of concern even during festivals. Although the police have not shared much information about the incident, it is learned that the accused is absconding since the incident.
