Jodhpur. Parliamentary Affairs, Law and Legal Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel addressed the public meeting on Sunday by formally inaugurating various development works worth Rs 25 lakh in the newly created Gram Panchayat Senai Panchayat Samiti Dhawa. Patel said that under the able leadership of our Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government is working with determination for sustainable and inclusive development. He said that historic work is being done by the state government to ensure universal access to basic facilities. 35 lakh people got cashless health facility
Patel said that during the two-year tenure, 132 new packages were added, expanding the scope of the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana. He said that under the scheme, cashless facility worth Rs 6 thousand 860 crore was provided to 35 lakh beneficiaries.
Block Public Health Unit being built in Dhawa and Keru
The Law Minister said that various development works worth about Rs 70 crore were approved for the improvement of medical facilities and modern infrastructure in Luni assembly constituency. He said that under the Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, Block Public Health Units are being constructed in Dhwa and Keru. He said that the amount of pension under the Social Security Pension Scheme was increased by Rs 250 to Rs 1250 per month.
‘Developed India-Ji Ram Ji’
Parliamentary Affairs Minister said that an effort has been made to make the scheme more practical and effective by removing the old shortcomings in the ‘Developed India-Ji Ram Ji’ law. He said that some people are trying to spread confusion about this scheme, but it is important that the truth be understood and correct information should be spread to every village.
Now you will get 125 days employment guarantee
The Law Minister said that till now there was a guarantee of 100 days of employment under MNREGA, which has been increased to 125 days under the Vikas Bharat Guarantee for Employment and Livelihood Mission (Rural). He said that this is not just an increase in the number of days, but the guarantee of employment has been further strengthened. He said that if for some reason employment is not available, the provision of unemployment allowance has been made more robust than before. He said that strict provisions have also been made regarding wage payment. If wages are not paid within 15 days and the amount remains pending, an additional amount will be paid to the worker.
Villagers expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister
The villagers expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Parliamentary Affairs Minister for making Senai a new Gram Panchayat. The villagers said that the reorganization of Panchayati Raj has been done in accordance with the public sentiments and thanks to the Rajasthan Government and the Chief Minister for creating Senai Gram Panchayat on the long standing demand of a separate Gram Panchayat.
