Jaipur. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that Rajasthan has immense potential for progress and investment in various sectors including mining, energy, education, tourism and health. Big investors from India and abroad are investing in all these areas of the state, but it is a pleasant feeling for the migrant Rajasthanis to participate in the journey of developed Rajasthan by investing in their motherland. We are committed to fulfilling the aspirations of investors and providing them all possible support. Sharma was interacting with eight expatriate Rajasthani chapters from India and abroad at the Chief Minister’s Office on Tuesday. During this, he appreciated the representatives of the chapters for encouraging the non-resident Rajasthanis to invest and participate in activities related to social and economic development in Rajasthan. He said that the State Government has created a dashboard to further increase the participation of NRR. In this, gap-areas have been identified in all the districts of the state, so that the migrant Rajasthanis can easily contribute to the work done with the help of Bhamashahs in their villages, cities and districts and become partners in the development of their motherland.
NRR policy will create an eco system of investment –
Sharma said that the state government has constituted ‘National and International Overseas Rajasthani Affairs Department’. This department will provide a powerful platform for dialogue and cooperation between the expatriate Rajasthanis and the state government, which will further strengthen the connect of the expatriates with their motherland. He said that the State Government’s Non-Resident Rajasthani Policy of Rajasthan-2025 will create a conducive environment to promote the contribution of NRRs in investment, trade, knowledge exchange, research etc. This policy will create a better ecosystem in the state to accelerate investment by non-resident Rajasthanis.
