New Delhi . Shiv Sena UBT Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi on Friday expressed serious concern over the misuse of Grok on social media platform X. He has written a letter in this regard to the Union Railways, Communications and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, demanding immediate intervention on the alleged objectionable and obscene experiments being done on photographs of women through Grok. Priyanka Chaturvedi wrote in the letter addressed to Ashwini Vaishnav, “I would like to draw your attention to a new trend that has emerged on social media, especially on This is unacceptable and a gross misuse of the AI function. What’s worse is that Grok is accepting such requests. This is also a violation of women’s rights, which is not only unethical but also criminal.
He said, “I am writing to you, as an active member of the Standing Committee on IT and Communication, to urge you as a Minister to strongly take up this matter with Any consequence should be tolerated.
He said that we are seeing similar patterns on other big tech platforms too, which are not being banned at all. As a nation, we must take this up on priority basis to ensure that women do not become victims of such blatant criminal acts and are not silenced and pushed out of these platforms.
Priyanka Chaturvedi further said that I am waiting for your reply and hope to take up this matter with big tech companies that we welcome AI and its role in making life easier for the world, but we will not allow such derogatory acts towards women to spread.
