Jodhpur. Jodhpur West Police has achieved great success in curbing illegal drug trafficking. In a joint action, the police recovered 392 grams of illegal opium milk and arrested two accused, along with this the Bolero camper vehicle used in the crime was also seized. This action was taken under the direction of Police Commissioner Omprakash and Deputy Commissioner of Police Jodhpur West Vineet Kumar Bansal, under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Roshan Meena (IPS) and Assistant Police Commissioner Circle Boranada Anand Singh Rajpurohit. Under the leadership of Police Station Officer Kudi Bhagatasani Tej Karan, the police team raided Bichlapura Jhalamand area. During the action, 45 grams of illegal opium milk was recovered from the possession of Jodharam (46) and 347 grams of illegal opium milk was recovered from Daulatram (50). Both the accused do farming work.
The police have registered a case under the NDPS Act and arrested the accused. Further investigation of the case is being conducted by Police Station Officer Boranada Shakeel Ahmed. This action has created panic among drug smugglers. The police has clarified that the campaign against such crimes will continue in the future also.
