Strong picture of women empowerment and self-employment seen in RSETI, expressed gratitude to the Central Government

Shahdol, December 22 (). RSETI Fair was organized by Central Bank of India at Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Shahdol. The main objective of the fair was to inspire new women for self-employment through the experiences of trained women.

Along with this, accounts of women were also opened by linking them with the major social security schemes of the Central Government, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana.

RSETIs are operated by the Central Government through leading banks in each district. In these centres, young men and women from rural areas are provided free training as per the prescribed parameters, so that they can become capable of self-employment. In this sequence, RSETI fair was organized by Central Bank of India on Sunday at RSETI Center Shahdol.

In the fair, various products prepared by the trainees trained by the institute were displayed and the products were also sold. The visitors to the fair were given detailed information about technical information, agriculture-based innovations and various opportunities related to self-employment. During the programme, savings accounts of the common people were opened by bank sakhis. Along with this, the facility to join Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana was also made available.

On this occasion, the women who had received training expressed their gratitude to the Central Government for taking strong steps towards self-employment by joining RSETI. The girls undergoing training thanked the government for providing free training courses like beauty parlor and said that this will give them an opportunity to become self-reliant and will open new avenues of self-employment in future.

Regarding the fair, LDM Amit Chaurasia said that to commemorate the 115th anniversary of the Central Bank of India, various programs are being organized in RSETI premises under the bank across the country. In this series, RSETI fair was also organized in Shahdol, in which trained women exhibited their products. He said that during the program so far about 20 to 25 accounts have been opened under the social security schemes of the Central Government.

According to LDM, the insurance premium in these schemes is extremely low and these schemes act as a safety net for needy families. These schemes provide financial support to the family in case of untimely demise of the head of the family. He said that it is the priority of the bank to connect more and more people with these schemes.

RSETI Centre, Shahdol, Trained Bank Sakhi Suman Kushwaha said that I have taken the training of Bank Sakhi. I got the information from my neighbor. I run a center now. When I got information about it, I took the exam and then got the ID and now started working. My income has increased. I also help my children and my husband in their education. This is a good plan of the government. Every woman should join it. Many thanks to the Central Government.

Janak Nandini Dwivedi, a trained agricultural entrepreneur, said that I am a resident of a village where even today there is no bus facility. One has to walk ten kilometers to catch the bus. Earlier my condition was very pathetic. After this I joined the Livelihood Mission Self Help Group. I received ten days of training and then worked with the women of the village group.

She told that I used to make medicines for organic farming. If my work was good, I got a chance to give training at the district level. When I started earning some income from it, I bought a scooter. After this, I started working with the farmers of the nearby villages, and when my income increased, I got a flour mill installed. After this I bought a laptop and then became a trainer in the RSETI camp. Today I got recognized through RSETI.

He said that after child marriage, most of the girls are not able to stand again. Now I am self-reliant. This scheme is very good for women.

Trained agricultural entrepreneur Savita Burman told that I am associated with Santoshi Support Group. My condition was very bad earlier. I had no knowledge about it. I got ten days of training. After this I started giving training by going from village to village. Today my condition has improved. I have my own car, I also help my husband. Today I have become self-reliant.

Trained agricultural entrepreneur Anju Ahirwar said that my condition was not good. During this time I got information about the group and joined it. I got a lot of information and then got an opportunity to take training in RSETI. Here I got information about vegetable production. Also got training in making fertilizer. Today I am a CRP trainer.

She told that I also make fertilizer at home, farmers buy it from there. They also benefit from this. Now my condition has improved a lot. I also appeal to other women to join this scheme.

Training recipient Aarti Varman said that she got information about RSETI training. I had no work and was in need, so I came to learn for free. After taking training I will start my work. Thanks to the government for running such schemes.

Anamika Yadav said that information was received about RSETI. Aajeevika’s sisters also told about this. I joined the training. The training is for 35 days and is free. The government has started a good scheme. We are not able to go to big parlors and take training, but with this scheme we can learn easily.

Udichi Mishra says that I got information about this training through social media. I filled the form and was selected. Here I got information about 35 days free training. We did not have the power to spend for this course, secondly we could not leave home and go far away to take training. I am getting the benefit of this government scheme.

Naina Bais told that I came to know from the CRP sister of the village that free training is being given for the parlor. I registered and was selected. Thanks to the Central Government for helping me learn and move forward.

Sanjana Mehra said that I got myself registered in RSETI. I am doing beauty parlor course. After this I will get an opportunity to open my own self-employment. Thanks to the Central Government, we are getting to learn for free through their schemes.
