Supriya Shrinet's taunt on SIT investigation of Ram Mandir case, said - small people are being punished, preparations are being made to save big people

New Delhi . Political rhetoric has intensified regarding the issue of Ram Mandir Trust and alleged offerings and financial irregularities. Congress and Samajwadi Party have raised questions on the functioning of the Trust, demanding an impartial investigation into the matter. Besides, indications have also been given to raise this issue in Parliament. In Nagpur, Congress leader Supriya Srinet raised questions on the investigation of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Ram Temple case, saying that it is not likely to yield any concrete results. His allegation was that the SIT includes only those people who are part of the system on which questions are being raised. He said that the investigation team was formed in a hurry so that action could be taken against small level people and big people would get an opportunity to escape. The SIT investigation is not expected to reveal the truth.
Congress leader Supriya Shrinet also mentioned the meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and said that Trust Treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri informed about accepting the resignations of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra and giving them clean chit.
Shrinate raised the question on what basis both were given clean chit. He also alleged that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had a role in the entire matter and the Trust had lost its credibility. He also demanded dissolution of the trust.
On the question of alleged factionalism in Punjab Congress, he said that differences are natural in democratic parties and it should not be considered wrong.
On the other hand, Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad said that there is every possibility of raising the issue of theft of Ram Temple offerings in Parliament. Every important issue related to the public is raised in the House and this topic will also be discussed under the guidance of the party leadership.
Responding to the meeting of Ram Mandir Trust, Awadhesh Prasad accused the Trust of hurting the faith of crores of devotees. He said that the statement of the Treasurer of the Trust raises serious questions on its functioning. According to him, if the Treasurer himself talks about staying away from financial decisions, then it is extremely worrying.
