Chennai, 17 September (). The catering company told the Madras High Court that the contracts of 12.5 crore of its food and catering service have been canceled in the last 15 days. This was reportedly because costume designer Joy Crisilda had posted derogatory posts on social media.
The company named Madhmapatti Thangvelu Hospitality Private Limited said that the brand ‘Madhampatti Pashla’ has suffered a lot. The company claims that Crisis, who says that he is married to the company’s director Rangraj, started posting wrong things on social media.
Senior advocate P.S. Raman, Justice N. In front of Senthilkumar, with the help of Vijayan Subramanian, argued that the Hashtags used in social media posts are giving wrong messages to them.
Raman told the court that the company’s reputation has suffered a lot and customers are retreating from contracts. He said that a prohibition should be issued to the designer to prevent such a hashtag from using.

The lawyer also questioned why the company was saving its director, while Crizilda lodged a police complaint against Rangraj on 29 August.
