Jaipur. Chief Secretary V. Srinivas met several top officials of the Central Government in New Delhi on Monday and discussed important points related to the development of the state and informed about the latest progress. The Chief Secretary met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s advisor Tarun Kapoor and discussed the success of industrial investment, employment promotion, development, various central and state promoted schemes and innovations in Rajasthan. The Chief Secretary said that the inauguration and foundation stone laying of various projects done by the Prime Minister during his visit to Rajasthan on July 4 will prove to be very important steps in achieving the goals of Developed Rajasthan @ 2047 and Developed India @ 2047. The Chief Secretary held a meeting with Dr. Manoj Govil, Secretary (Coordination) in the Central Cabinet Secretariat and informed about the progress of Deregulation and Compliance Reduction Phase-2 in Rajasthan. In this meeting held at Seva Tirth, Dr. Manoj Govil praised Rajasthan and expressed hope that like Phase-1, Rajasthan will be included among the top states in Phase-2 also. The Chief Secretary informed that along with the success of Rising Rajasthan, the success of deregulation and compliance reduction in the state has given a lot of boost to the ease of living and ease of doing business. Many other concerned officials were also present in this meeting.
The Chief Secretary met Union Expenditure Secretary V. Vulnam at Dutva Bhawan and discussed many matters including the progress of centrally sponsored schemes in Rajasthan, Mother Section.
The Chief Secretary held a meeting with Central Revenue Secretary Arvind Srivastava at Dutva Bhawan and discussed various issues related to GST and the positive changes in GST collection after the GST slab reform. The Chief Secretary held talks with Union Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh on many points including Make in India at Dutva Bhawan itself.
