The starting ex-showroom price of MG Comet EV is ₹7.62 lakh, while its top-end variant goes up to ₹9.99 lakh. The company also offers the option of ‘Battery-as-a-Service’ (BaaS). Under this scheme, the starting price of the car goes up to ₹4.99 lakh; However, users have to pay a fare of ₹3.20 per kilometer for the battery.
2. Battery and driving range
This electric car is equipped with a 17.3 kWh battery pack. The electric motor powering it generates power of 41.43 bhp and torque of 110 Nm. The company claims that MG Comet EV can give a driving range of about 230 kilometers once fully charged.

MG Comet EV measures 2,974 mm in length, 1,505 mm in width and 1,640 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 2,010 mm. Its special feature is its turning radius of only 4.2 meters, which makes the car very easy to drive even in tight places.

The design of MG Comet EV is boxy and different. Up front is a full-width LED lightbar that the company calls “Extended Horizon.” The charging port is located on the front, just below the MG logo. This car is equipped with 12-inch alloy wheels and it also has a connected LED lightbar at the rear.

The cabin inside the car is designed on white and gray color theme. It has a 10.24-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.24-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
