Jaipur. A comprehensive action plan has been implemented by the state government with the aim of providing quick relief in rural areas and taking the benefits of public welfare schemes to every village. In continuation of the successfully completed Gramin Seva Camp-2026 (12th June to 15th July), now follow-up camps will be organized across the state from 21st July to 31st August, 2026.

22 departments will participate

According to the guidelines issued by Principal Secretary, Revenue, T. Ravikant, in the follow-up camps, 22 major departments of the government including Revenue Department, Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Energy, Medical, Education, Social Justice, Women and Child Development and Public Health Engineering will ensure quality disposal of the cases.
Simplification of rules in public interest
The meeting of the Land Allotment Advisory Committee will now be held at the concerned Gram Panchayat headquarters instead of the district or tehsil headquarters. The announcement period for inviting applications for land allotment has also been reduced from 15 days to 7 days, due to which quick disposal of cases will be possible.
The Chief Government Secretary directed that all the Divisional Commissioners, District Collectors and officers of 22 concerned departments will ensure that maximum number of villagers are benefited by giving wide publicity to the camps.
The powers transferred during the Gramin Seva Camp 2026 will continue in the follow-up camp also.
The powers imposed on the State Government to hand over the government land reserved for population expansion to the local bodies have been transferred to the District Collector.
The powers imposed on the District Collector for reserving government land for population expansion have been transferred to the camp in-charge.
In relation to laying underground pipeline through the holding of other account holders or opening a new road or widening the existing road, purification of revenue records/accounts, allotment/reservation of land for public/government purposes, the powers imposed on the Sub-Divisional Officer have been transferred to the camp in-charge (Indian Administrative Service/Rajasthan Administrative Service).
With mutual consent, the powers imposed on the Tehsildar to clear accounts and settle road issues have been transferred to the Tehsildar/Naib Tehsildar appointed in the camp.
The powers of Gram Panchayat to resolve cases related to name change, border knowledge cases, encroachment cases of government/pasture/departmental lands have been transferred to Tehsildar/Naib Tehsildar.
Divisional Commissioner/District Collector has been authorized to post on the vacant posts of Tehsildar/Naib Tehsildar.
Guidelines for successful organization of the main campaign
The remaining camps in the main campaign should be organized and follow up camps should be organized after the prescribed interval before August 31, 2026.
Make sure to register the names and mobile numbers of all the beneficiaries in the follow up camp.
In the campaign, a book should be published at the district level by including department-wise work done, success stories, newspaper cutting etc.
After receiving suggestions from the general public in the camps, examining the received suggestions, action should be taken to implement the suggestions for the convenience/benefit of the general public in the camps.
Cases of encroachment on roads and in camps should be resolved on priority.
