Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that BJP’s historic victory in the Municipal Corporation elections is the result of tireless hard work, dedication of the workers and unwavering faith of the people. Even in the scorching heat, the workers did public relations day and night, the result of which was the victory of the BJP-backed mayor and councilors by a huge margin.
The Chief Minister was addressing the grand swearing-in ceremony of newly elected Mayor Rajiv Jain and councilors of Municipal Corporation Sonipat at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Murthal today. The Chief Minister said that Bharatiya Janata Party is a worker based organization. Here every worker gets opportunity from time to time. This democratic tradition separates BJP from other parties. Emphasizing on women empowerment, he said that as per the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the party is providing leadership to women. Referring to Dr. Archana Gupta being made the state president, he said that bringing women forward is the priority of BJP.
Naib Singh Saini assured that the new team of the State Government and the Municipal Corporation together will provide three times the speed to the development of Sonipat. Rapid work will be done on better roads, sanitation, drinking water, sewerage, electricity and expansion of modern urban facilities in the city.
He called upon Mayor Rajeev Jain and his team to work with transparency, sensitivity and dedication while maintaining public trust. Quick and effective solution to people’s problems should be their top priority. Divisional Commissioner Rajiv Ratan administered the oath of office and secrecy to everyone.
On this occasion, Panchayat and Development Minister Krishna Lal Panwar, Cooperative Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, Rai MLA Krishna Gehlawat, Sonipat MLA Nikhil Madan, Kharkhoda MLA Pawan Kumar Kharkhoda, BJP State President Dr. Archana Gupta and many other dignitaries were present.
