Jaipur. Deputy Chief Minister and Public Works Minister Diya Kumari said in the Assembly on Tuesday that road development work is being done continuously to ease the transportation in urban and rural areas of the state. He said that the works of 22 roads under construction in Mahua assembly constituency will be completed by June 30.
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari was answering the supplementary questions asked by member Rajendra in this regard during the question hour. He said that patch repairing work is done on the roads as per requirement. At present four roads in Mahua assembly constituency are in patchable condition, the patch repair work of which is in progress. He informed that 68 new road works were approved in Mahua assembly constituency, out of which 30 works have been completed and 35 works are in progress. Earlier, in a written reply to the original question of MLA Rajendra, the Public Works Minister said that the construction work of 68 new roads has been approved in Mahwa assembly constituency from the year 2023 to 2025. Kumari said that out of these works, 1 work has been canceled and 2 works have not been started as they are not very important. He clarified that issuing re-approval of these two works depends on the mutual priority of the works. He placed the details of these works on the table of the House.
