After the marriage of Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce, people even bought the garbage lying outside their wedding venue. The most surprising thing is that a New York artist earned about Rs 1.2 lakh by selling this waste.
According to AFP report, Justin Gignac, an artist, collected different types of garbage from outside Madison Square Garden on July 3, where Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married. At that time thousands of fans were present outside the venue to get a glimpse of Taylor and Travis after the wedding.
Justin found things like bottle caps, cigarette butts, police warning tape, straws, plastic utensils, a single AirPod, ring pop candy and an ovulation kit, which he jokingly said was probably ‘manifesting something for the couple.’ He sealed all these items in small transparent plastic cubes and named them sculptures. Due to being sealed, there was no problem of smell or leakage.
After this he kept the price of each cube at 25 US dollars (about Rs 2,400). He sold about 50 such cubes and earned a total of $ 1,250 i.e. approximately Rs 1.2 lakh. Crazy fans wanted to keep the memory of Taylor’s wedding, so all the bags were sold out in just 24 hours.
