Sikar. With the aim of providing a platform to the talent, skill and entrepreneurship of the women of Shekhawati region, Shekhawati Panch-Gaurav Rajsakhi and Udyog Mela was inaugurated on Friday at Urban Haat, Sikar. After the inauguration, Urban Development and Health Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra inspected the Panch Gaurav exhibition and the stalls set up by various departments and self-help groups and took information about the products prepared by women. Organized on the theme of “Strong Women, Prosperous Shekhawati – One District, One Product”, this fair will run till March 20.
The fair showcases local products, handicrafts, food items and various household products made by women self-help groups. At the fair, Kharra said that there is no dearth of talent and skill in India, the only need is to give it the right platform. Rajivika is giving such a platform to women associated with self-help groups. These women are becoming an example of self-reliance by producing different types of products with the help of their skills.
