Jaipur. Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani visited the Rajasthan Regional AI Impact Summit 2026, organized under the AI ​​Impact Summit India 2026, and participated in the AI ​​Democratization Exhibition. The summit was held at Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC), Jaipur with the theme of AI, Youth and Responsible Citizenship. On this occasion, Devnani appreciated the presentation of the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan through modern technology through a three-dimensional virtual tour of the heritage monuments. He experienced Amer Fort, Albert Hall, City Palace Jaipur, Shrinath Ji Ke Darshan, City Palace Udaipur, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and Kumbhalgarh Fort very vividly and closely through virtual medium. Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is such an effective tool, the use of which has become mandatory in the present times. He said that AI also has an important role in governance and issues related to the state and the country should be analyzed through AI, so that its real utility can be brought to the fore.
He said that AI is a technical system, which produces results based on the information provided to it. In such a situation, it is our responsibility to provide 100 percent correct, authentic and factual information to AI, so that it can provide us accurate, reliable and useful results.
Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that the Rajasthan government is promoting Artificial Intelligence (AI) but with utmost caution. He said that teachers, students and people associated with different fields can fulfill their needs and tasks more easily through AI.
He said that Rajasthan is a geographically huge state, hence administrative and developmental works can be made more easy and effective through modern technology like AI. Presently educational institutions and various training centers are using AI, and this process is an integral part of digitalization.
Devnani said that the Minister of Information Technology and Communication Technology of Rajasthan Government is also taking this issue seriously and working towards moving forward. Necessary policy decisions, rules and ordinances for regulation and effective implementation of AI are also being considered. He said that along with the use of AI, data security is extremely important. There should not be any type of data leakage. Expressing concern, he said that earlier only pictures were misused, now challenges like voice recognition are also coming to the fore, hence it is necessary to take special care towards the security of voice data.
Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that industrialists can increase their skills through AI, but for this it is also necessary that more data centers and training centers be established in Rajasthan, so that AI can be used in the right direction and effectively.
He said that it is necessary to make AI accessible to the general public and the Rajasthan government aims to include the state among the leading states of the country in the field of artificial intelligence.
Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that India and Rajasthan can never lag behind. He said that India is a country which is associated with emotions and human values, hence we have to seriously consider how much, where and for what purpose Artificial Intelligence (AI) should be used.
He said that in countries like America and England, AI is being used in different ways, but India will have to decide the use of AI as per its social structure, cultural values ​​and national needs.
Devnani said that new startups can be started through AI, but it is also our collective responsibility to especially consider which information should reach children through AI and which information is suitable for the general public.
He said that along with the use of AI, security should be paramount. It is necessary to ensure that the use of AI is in line with national interests, where data security is maintained and national interest is also protected.
He said that in the coming time, AI will have an impact in every field, hence it is necessary to continuously work on its utility, only then we will be able to move forward in step with the world at the global level.
Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that an IT park has been established in Ajmer and he called upon entrepreneurs, innovators and youth to join this IT park and start their startup, innovation and technological activities from there.
The event was organized as Rajasthan Digital Mahotsav, Global Tenth Summit, in collaboration with the Government of Rajasthan, hosted by TIE Rajasthan. The Department of Information Technology and Communications and I-Start also played an active role in this. This conference is considered to be the largest annual global gathering of entrepreneurs, innovators and policy-makers from around the world.
