Use PM Gatishakti portal in making action plan of development schemes - Cabinet Secretariat Secretary (Coordination)

Jaipur, . Cabinet Secretary (Coordination) Dr. Manoj Govil reviewed the logistics and transport sector of Rajasthan in the Secretariat on Friday. With its complete implementation, not only the industries but also the common people of the state will benefit from it. Besides, new employment opportunities will be created for the people and logistics activities will get a boost in the state.


Dr. Govil said that the data of Gati Shakti Portal should be used in making action plans for development schemes in the state. Also, the data on the portal should be updated continuously and the time limit for the same should also be fixed according to the nature of the work. He said that necessary changes should also be made on this portal as per the requirements of Rajasthan. Also, best practices should be continuously shared with other departments and states. Shikhar Aggarwal, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Industries and Commerce Department, suggested that the PM Gatishakti portal be linked with other related portals of the central government, so that a data base is created. Giving an example, he said that by linking the data of Udyam Portal to Gatishakti Portal, real time information related to MSME industries will be available. Also, he said that the use of this portal by the common people should be considered and the use of this portal should also be considered for permissions related to industrial establishment and other works.
The logistics action plan was presented by Industries and Commerce Commissioner Suresh Kumar Ola. He said that work is being done to identify necessary reforms in this regard in the state. The state government is working on making the traffic system industry-friendly on priority basis. Other important roads in the state are the Delhi-Mumbai and Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressways connecting industrial areas. Also, work is being done by the state government to develop industrial hubs near these expressways.
During this, presentation of City Logistics Plan of Ajmer, Jaipur and Kota, Goods and Passengers Urban Mobility Plan, Public Bus System of JCTSL and approved NPG appraised projects were also given.
Director of Industry Promotion and Internal Trade Department Prashant Kumar was also present in the meeting. Also, senior officials of NHAI, Jaipur Metro, Railways, PM Gatishakti Portal, Local Self Government, Women and Child Development Department, Urban Development, Transport, Water Resources, Public Works and Industry and Commerce Department were present in the meeting. Collectors of respective districts and representatives of agencies connected through VC.
