Video of bank employee misbehaving with customer giving revenge, video goes viral

A video of HDFC Bank in Panki Sector 2 of Kanpur city had gone viral. In this, a female bank employee Aastha Singh was seen getting angry at a woman. In the video, Aastha Singh was not only abusing the customer but was also flaunting her caste. However, Aastha Singh has now given clarification. He confirmed his statement, “I am Thakur,” and told the entire story of who misbehaved with him, after which he made this statement. He also said that the video has been misrepresented.

Aastha Singh said, “You all must have seen my video. You have heard one side of the story. But let me tell you the truth. I want to present my side now. This video is of January 6, not of now. This is not a video of any customer. This is a video of a woman working in our bank arguing with her husband, which is being misrepresented and spread. People are also linking it to the caste angle.” In fact, the woman who was working for us had resigned from the bank. But she wanted relief that very day. His sister-in-law was sitting in the bank since morning. I had a little argument with him. The same sister-in-law told all this to her brother (husband of the woman working in the bank).

“Yes, I am Thakur, I am proud of my caste.

She further said, “The bank closes at 3:30. The female employee’s husband came to the bank at 4:30. He also misbehaved with me. He came straight to my desk and asked about my caste. He said, “What caste are you that you have so much pride? I will take away all your pride. I will take away all your arrogance.” He abused me, after which I made this statement. Yes, my words were wrong. I know I am here to serve the public and I should have chosen my words very carefully. But if someone comes to me and says, ‘I will take away your arrogance,’ then I will not remain silent.” I said I am a Thakur, so yes, I am a Thakur. I am proud of my caste.

Currently refusing to take police action

This video is becoming increasingly viral on social media, and people are showing strong anger against the bank management and employees. However, the police say that no party has yet filed any written complaint in this matter. There is talk of legal action only after receiving the complaint.
