A street vendor from Agra has done exactly this. He used bitter neem leaves instead of mango stuffing and the video has gone viral. In the viral video, the vendor is seen plucking fresh neem leaves from the tree and chopping them finely. To reduce the bitterness, he adds finely chopped onion, ginger and a variety of spices. Then this bitter, spicy mixture is filled in the dough and parathas are rolled. Matters get even stranger when he cooks the parathas on a tawa (griddle) and deep-fries them in plenty of ghee until crisp.

Although it is not life threatening, it is not at all a good option for daily consumption or in terms of taste. If you want to take advantage of the medicinal properties of Neem, it is enough to chew two-three small leaves or drink a little juice on an empty stomach in the morning; There is no need to make parathas out of it.
