New Delhi. Haryana in-charge B.K. at Congress headquarters in New Delhi. An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Hariprasad. Senior leaders of the state, MPs, MLAs, former MLAs, state executive members, district heads and workers from different districts participated in this meeting. It was unanimously decided in the meeting that the evidence of vote theft in Haryana exposed by Rahul Gandhi will be made public. For this, public awareness programs and protests will be organized on a large scale in every district of the state. Talking to journalists after this meeting, MP Kumari Selja said that it was also decided in the meeting that Congress workers will take to the streets to protect democracy and protect the rights of voters and tell the public how the fairness of the election process in Haryana has been questioned.
Kumari Selja said that this movement will not be against any political party only, but to protect the basic spirit of democracy. The party has decided that this campaign will be started from Karnal and thereafter programs will be organized in all the districts sequentially. It was resolved in the meeting that Congress, with the cooperation of the public, will take this struggle to protect the Constitution and democracy to the final stage.
MP Kumari Selja said that it is clear from the evidence presented by Rahul Gandhi that votes were stolen in Haryana, everyone was saying that this time Congress government will be formed in the state but it was formed by BJP. There was vote theft, fraud in the state, hundreds of voters were made at one address, all these evidences will be placed before the public and the message of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will be conveyed to the public. For this, programs will be organized in every district. Kumari Selja said that vote theft is a violation of democracy.
Kumari Selja said that the people of Haryana had voted in favor of Congress, but during the counting of votes, the votes of Congress candidates were systematically manipulated. The people’s mandate in Haryana was in favor of Congress, but the people in power have put democracy to shame. The Election Commission should work as an independent and impartial institution and not under any pressure.
MP Selja will hold a meeting in Jind tomorrow: MP Kumari Selja will reach village Jajanwala district Jind, the residence of Indian Army soldier Amarjeet Nain, who was martyred in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, on 11th November at 09.00 am and pay tribute. After this, she will meet the general public at the PWD Rest House in Narwana from 09.30 am to 10.30 am and will preside over the meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (Disha) in Jind at 11.00 am.
