Weather changed in North India, rain and storm alert issued in many states

The weather has once again taken a turn in many states of North India. Due to the activity of Western Disturbance, light rain at some places and the effect of strong winds and storms are being seen in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and hilly states including the capital Delhi.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow and orange alerts in many areas for the coming 24 to 48 hours. According to the department, during this period, strong winds, rain with thunderstorms and sudden activity of weather can be seen in some areas.

Meteorologists say that due to western disturbance, moisture in the atmosphere has increased, due to which this change in weather has occurred. Due to this, a slight drop in temperature is being recorded and people are getting temporary relief from the heat.

The administration has advised people to exercise caution during inclement weather, stay away from open areas and avoid unnecessary travel.
