New Delhi. West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Friday. He said that the new government of Bengal will pursue the agenda of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari shared pictures of this meeting on social media platform X. He wrote that Union Home Minister Amit Shah, hearty thanks for your unwavering trust and good wishes. He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and your able leadership, this new government of West Bengal is fully committed to realizing the resolve of security, good governance and ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ in the state. Together we will realize the dream of making West Bengal a developed Bengal and will continue to work tirelessly for the welfare of every citizen.
Before this, Chief Minister Adhikari met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari wrote in a post on social media platform X that it was a privilege and honor to meet our Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today. This is my first official meeting with the Prime Minister after assuming the responsibility of serving the people of West Bengal as Chief Minister.
He wrote that I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister for his warm wishes and especially for his unwavering commitment towards the progress of our state. During our fruitful discussion, the Prime Minister re-emphasised his vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ and reiterated that the development of West Bengal is the top priority of the Central Government.
He said that I am extremely grateful to him for assuring West Bengal all possible assistance, guidance and central support to lift it out of years of economic stagnation and take it on the path of economic development, industrial revival and youth empowerment. With the blessings of the Center and the confidence of the public, we are ready to usher in a new era of dual-paced development, transparent governance and holistic development for West Bengal.
