Kolkata, March 25 (). After the Election Commission, now West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has targeted the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF). He alleged that like the Commission, the Central Force is also working as an agent of the BJP in West Bengal.
CM Mamata Banerjee addressed three rallies one after the other in North Bengal on Wednesday. At a rally he blamed the CAPF companies already deployed in the state. He said every vote against the BJP would be revenge against the Election Commission, which has caused trouble to the people through the Special Intensive Review (SIR).
She further said that she respects CAPFs a lot, but now she saw that in West Bengal they are working like agents of BJP and are also carrying BJP flags. The Chief Minister said that this time the women of West Bengal will have to take special initiative for the security of the polling booths from the morning itself during the voting days. If you want peace in West Bengal for five years then you will have to protect the booth for a day and stop outsiders from causing election irregularities. Take to the streets with whatever you have at home.
He also attacked the commission for transferring, transferring and deputing bureaucrats and police officers from West Bengal to other states without prior notice.
CM Mamata Banerjee said that I am the elected Chief Minister of West Bengal, but despite this my officers were transferred without informing me in advance. Now, who will take the responsibility of essential and emergency administrative works in the state? Who will provide food? Who will deal with natural disasters like floods or storms? If BJP is thinking of crushing me with such actions then it is wrong.
Regarding the SIR, he said that it is a matter of shame that the citizens of West Bengal are now being forced to provide proof of their citizenship after so many years. She said that Logical Discompassion notices were especially sent to tribal and backward class people, and she is sure that NRC will be the next agenda in West Bengal, but as long as I am alive, I will not let it happen. I will not send even a single person to detention camp.
