A three-match ODI series is going on between India and Australia. After this a T20 series will be played between the two teams. India-Australia T20 series (IND vs AUS T20I Series) will start with the first match in Canberra on 29 October. Suryakumar Yadav will take charge of the Indian team in the T20 series. Some players will join the T20 squad for the T20 series against Australia only after the ODI series. The remaining players have reached Canberra, Australia before the start of the T20 series.

The T20 series between India and Australia starts from October 29. The last match of this series will be played on 8 November.

India lost the ODI series to Australia
Shubman Gill captained the Indian ODI team in place of Rohit Sharma for the Australia tour. Two matches of the three-match series have been played between India and Australia and Team India has lost both. Australia leads the series 2-0. The last and third ODI match of the series will be played in Sydney.
