In a stern warning, Ghalibaf said, “Tehran is ready to respond to any attack; all options are open to us. Our forces will give a strong and decisive response to any aggression.”

On Monday (May 11), US President Donald Trump strongly rejected Iran’s latest nuclear proposal, calling it a “piece of garbage”. Speaking at an event at the White House, he remarked that Ceasefire is currently on “life support”. Trump stressed that Tehran’s latest reaction to nuclear talks is “completely unacceptable.” He called it a “ridiculous” proposal. He further said that Iran had initially agreed to allow the removal of “nuclear dust” from enrichment facilities – which were damaged during a recent US military strike – but later changed its stance. According to Trump, Iranian officials later pulled out of the agreement because they did not want to put it in writing. He said that America’s stance remains the same. “I have a very simple plan: Iran should not have nuclear weapons.” He further said, “I would say that the ceasefire is in a very critical state—just like a doctor coming and saying that the patient’s chance of survival is only one percent.”
