Why did Vaibhav make the sign of ‘A’?
Vaibhav actually answered this question during a conversation with Romi Bhinder. Bhinder asked him what this ‘A’ sign stood for. In response, Vaibhav said, “I have dedicated this to my mother. Her name starts with the letter ‘A’.” He further said that initially he did not intend to tell everyone about this. Furthermore, he told that he wants to continue this tradition in the future also. So, it’s possible that this gesture will become a regular thing as a celebration whenever he hits a milestone.
It is worth noting that during the match against Lucknow, Vaibhav Suryavanshi crossed the 500-run mark in the current IPL season. By achieving this milestone, Vaibhav has become the youngest player in the world to score 500 runs in any T20 tournament. To create this historic record, Vaibhav needed 14 runs – a feat he accomplished in just 14 balls in yesterday’s match. With this historic performance, he also broke the previous record held by Rishabh Pant. Earlier, the record of the youngest player to score 500 runs in an IPL season was in the name of Rishabh Pant, who achieved this brilliant feat in 2018.
