Addiction is the root of destruction: Secretary Sunil Kumar Sharma

Narayanpur. A drug-free campaign was organized under the National Youth Day weekly program by Shri Krishna Education and Rural Development Committee on Friday in the Government Higher Primary School located in Mansarovar Johar of the subdivision. Teacher Pramila Chaudhary said that the main goal of this campaign is to keep the youth away from drugs and also to make the people around us aware about the ill effects of drugs. Anganwadi worker Pinky Meena said that if children and women become aware and repeatedly stop or tell drug addicts, then this campaign can definitely be made successful by reducing drug addiction. Secretary Sunil Kumar Sharma said that drug addiction is the root of destruction.
It is a bad addiction which starts gradually but its continuous use causes various side effects on the person’s body, hence every person should take an oath that neither will he take the drug nor will he allow it to be done, nor will he support anyone doing it. Under the drug-free campaign, an oath was administered to the students and teachers of the school. School staff and students were present on this occasion.
