This week, banks will remain closed for three consecutive days in most parts of the country, due to which branch related work may be affected:
June 26 (Friday): Government and private sector banks will remain closed in many states on the occasion of Muharram/Ashura.
June 27 (Saturday): Being the fourth Saturday of the month, there will be a regular holiday in banks across the country.
June 28 (Sunday): All banks in the country will remain closed due to weekly holiday.

Since many festivals in India are celebrated regionally, today will be a normal working day for banks in some states. If you live in any of the following cities, banks will be open today:

Even if bank branches in your city are closed today, customers need not worry. All digital and online banking services will remain operational 24×7:
ATM Service: ATMs will remain open as usual for cash withdrawal or deposit. Online Banking: Net banking and mobile banking apps will continue to function fully.
UPI and fund transfers: UPI payments through apps like Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm, as well as online fund transfers through NEFT/RTGS will continue without any interruption.
