Important news for bank customers! Banks closed for 5 consecutive days from today in these 5 states, no transaction will be done

On the occasion of Ram Navami, banks in many states of the country will remain closed today, Friday, March 27. So, if you have to handle any important banking work, it is important to plan in advance. Banks will remain closed in cities like Ahmedabad, Dehradun, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna and Gangtok on Friday, March 27, due to Ram Navami (Chaite Dashain). Earlier, on Thursday, March 26 also, banks were closed in many cities including Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi and other big urban centers due to Ram Navami. Due to this series of holidays, banking operations have been somewhat limited this week.

However, despite bank branches being closed, customers are not likely to face much trouble as digital banking services will remain operational. You can transfer or withdraw money using net banking, mobile banking, UPI and ATM. However, check clearing, cash deposits and other offline banking services will not be available during this period. Apart from this, banks will remain closed in many cities on 31st March on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. So, if you have any important banking work, it would be better to settle them beforehand so that you do not face any problem later.
