Big step by government to avert fuel crisis! 10% increase in LPG production, Hardeep Puri met PM Modi

The concern which was increasing among hotel and restaurant owners for the last few days regarding the shortage of commercial gas cylinders is about to end. Sensing this crisis, the government has not only changed its strategy, but has also made it clear that there is no shortage of petroleum products in the country. If you were wondering whether restaurants will be closed now or it will become difficult to eat out, then this news is for you. Let us know about this relief initiative of the government.

Big news for restaurant owners:
The government has formed a three-member committee to resolve the problems of commercial consumers. This includes the Executive Directors (EDs) of IOC, HPCL and BPCL. This committee will directly interact with restaurant associations, understand their actual needs and reset supply priorities so that business is not affected.

Domestic gas production increased by 10%
The government’s reprioritization strategy is working. Due to supply disruptions, domestic LPG production has increased by about 10% in the last few days. New consignments of LPG and LNG are arriving in India from various sources, and more are expected in the coming days.

India is moving forward leaving the crisis behind
The Petroleum Ministry has made it clear that India is more prepared than ever to deal with the problems caused by the Iran-Israel war across the world. Our refineries are now operating at full capacity as before the war. India is now taking 70% of its crude oil supply from safe sources other than the Strait of Hormuz. The government believes that once this global crisis is over, India will recover faster and better than other countries.

no export ban
Currently, no decision has been taken to ban the export of refined oil (petroleum product). From this it is clear that India has a lot of stock and the system is completely under control. This proactive action of the government proves that the country’s energy security is in safe hands. While home kitchens are running smoothly, the needs of restaurants and commercial sectors will now be met on priority basis. So, feel free to go to your favorite restaurant and enjoy your food, because the government has prepared a war room in terms of gas.
