Parliament Budget Session: Amidst the decreasing cases of corona in the country, the budget session is starting once again from today. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget for the session 2022-23 in Parliament on Monday for Jammu and Kashmir. In this second phase also it will be mandatory to follow the budget covid rules. Both the Houses will be conducted in exactly the same way as what was shown to us during the first phase of the budget session.

What will be the seating arrangement of MPs in the House?
Social distancing will be followed in the proceedings of the House. Because of which, while the seating arrangement of some MPs will be in the chamber, there will be some arrangement in the visitor’s gallery. The total number of this MPs in Rajya Sabha is 237 (8 seats vacant). Out of this, 139 MPs will be arranged in the chamber. While the arrangement of 98 MPs will be in the gallery.
Talking about the Lok Sabha with 538 MPs, the seating arrangement of 282 members including the Prime Minister will be in the chamber. While the remaining MPs will be arranged in the gallery. Let us tell you, in the second phase, the Rajya Sabha will get an additional 19 hours.
The time of 4 days has been fixed in the House for the Private Members’ Bill. Whereas the question hour will be for 1 hour. On behalf of the opposition, there is a plan to surround the government on different issues in this session.
