This time, dearness allowance has increased by 3 percent, due to which dearness allowance has now increased from 55 percent to 58 percent.

When will the recommendations of the Eighth Pay Commission apply?
According to the information, the final DA of the 7th Pay Commission will be adjusted, as the recommendations of the 8th Pay Commission are going to be implemented from January 2026. Central employees are now waiting for the formation of the 8th Pay Commission. Explain that the Central Employees Unions have also met Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on this issue. Union officials have intervened by the Union Minister and demanded the early formation of the 8th Pay Commission. Today, a cabinet meeting was held on 1 October, in which it was agreed to increase dearness allowance. Earlier, the central government’s cabinet meeting was held on 24 September. But at that time, dearness allowance could not be discussed for some reason.
