ED clamps down on luxury properties spread from Mumbai to Noida, properties worth Rs 3084 crore of Anil Ambani Group seized

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken major action against Anil Ambani’s Reliance Group. Assets worth approximately ₹3,084 crore (approximately $1.5 billion) belonging to various entities of the group have been seized. These attachment orders were issued on October 31, 2025, under Section 5(1) of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The attached properties also include his residence at Pali Hill in Bandra West, Mumbai.

The properties attached during the Enforcement Directorate action include Anil Ambani’s Reliance Group residence in Pali Hill, a property in Reliance Center in New Delhi and several other properties located in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Hyderabad, Chennai (including Kanchipuram) and East Godavari. All these properties have been seized under four orders issued under PMLA. It is noteworthy that Anil Ambani’s residence in Pali Hill, Bandra West, Mumbai is quite popular.

Enforcement Directorate (ED) is tightening its grip
In recent times, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has been continuously tightening the noose on Anil Ambani’s Reliance Group. Earlier in October, the ED had arrested Ashok Kumar Pal, chief financial officer (CFO) and executive director of Reliance Anil Ambani group companies. The arrest was made on charges of money laundering in a fake bank guarantee case.
