A case of dispute and fight between two parties has come to light in Antaura village of Tikamgarh district over the old rivalry of Panchayat elections. After this incident, an atmosphere of tension has arisen in the village. Current Sarpanch Prakash Yadav has made serious allegations against former Sarpanch Kailash Rai and his family members of assaulting his brother.

According to the information, after the incident, the present Sarpanch reached the Superintendent of Police office on Tuesday and submitted a written complaint about the entire matter and demanded strict legal action against the accused. He said that his family is being continuously targeted due to electoral rivalry.

It has been alleged in the complaint that people from the former Sarpanch’s side had a dispute with his brother and beat him up, due to which he suffered injuries. After the incident, the family members took the injured to the hospital for treatment. However, the reason and circumstances under which the fight took place is being investigated by the police.

The current Sarpanch says that there has been tension between the two parties since the elections and situations of dispute have arisen many times. He has demanded the police administration to ensure the safety of the family and take fair action against the accused.

At the same time, the Superintendent of Police office has confirmed the receipt of the complaint and has given instructions to investigate the matter. Police say that statements of both the parties will be recorded and further action will be taken based on the available evidence. If the allegations of assault are found true in the investigation, a case will be registered under relevant sections.

After Panchayat elections in rural areas, cases of mutual enmity and disputes have been coming to the fore from time to time. In such cases, the administration continuously appeals to maintain peace and maintain law and order.

At present the police is busy investigating the entire matter. Further legal action will be taken based on the investigation report and statements of both the parties. At the same time, after this incident, the administration is keeping an eye on the situation in Antaura village.
