Rejecting a marriage proposal became a cause of great trouble for a girl from Bhopal. The girl has accused a young man from Udaipur of continuous mental torture and harassment. The victim claims that the youth got fake photographs prepared, fake invitation cards printed and harassed her and her family through online cab booking. The matter has now reached the Women’s Commission.
Alleged harassment started after refusal to marry
According to the girl, she had not accepted the young man’s marriage proposal. After this the young man allegedly started harassing her continuously. The victim alleges that she and her family have been facing mental stress for the last one year.
Hundreds of cabs and bikes reached home in a day
According to the complaint, in January 2026, the young man made a large number of fake bookings on services like Ola, Uber and Rapido using the girl’s address. It is alleged that around 500 taxis and bike riders reached his house in a single day, which created an atmosphere of chaos in the area and the family had to face immense inconvenience.
Allegation of fake photos and fake invitation cards
The victim has also alleged that the youth tried to prepare fake photographs of her and circulate them through social media and other mediums. Additionally, fake invitation cards for her baby shower were also allegedly printed.
Mention of giving silver coin
According to the complaint, these fake invitation cards mentioned giving silver coins to the guests so that more and more people could attend the event. Later these cards were distributed through hawkers in the entire colony, due to which the girl and her family had to face social embarrassment.
The matter reached the Women’s Commission
After increasing problems, the victim has complained about the matter to the concerned authorities and the Women’s Commission. Taking the matter seriously, the Commission has sought necessary information and has started investigating the complaint.
Action will be taken on the basis of investigation
Officials say that the allegations made in the complaint are being investigated. The case will be investigated on the basis of digital records, data related to online booking and other available evidence. After completion of investigation, further action will be taken as per rules.
