Gold and silver prices are continuously rising, creating new records daily. According to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), by Wednesday morning, the price of 24 carat gold stood at Rs 1,19,941 per 10 grams, while silver stood at Rs 1,49,441 per kg. Meanwhile, according to the All India Bullion Association, gold prices hit a record high of Rs 1,24,000 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market. However, silver fell by Rs 3,400 from its previous high to Rs 1,54,000 per kg (including all taxes). Globally, spot gold was trading at $ 3,958.18 an ounce. What were the prices of gold last day?
According to the All India Bullion Association, the price of gold rose by ₹700 to a record high of ₹1,24,000 per 10 grams in the bullion market in the national capital on Tuesday. However, silver fell ₹3,400 from its previous high to ₹1,54,000 per kg (including all taxes). Gold of 99.9 percent purity had closed at ₹1,23,300 per 10 grams on Monday. Gold of 99.5 per cent purity rose by ₹700 to hit an all-time high of ₹1,23,400 per 10 grams (including all taxes) in the local bullion market on Tuesday. It had closed at ₹1,22,700 per 10 grams in the last market session.

Meanwhile, silver fell ₹3,400 from its peak to ₹1,54,000 per kg (including all taxes). On Monday, silver had closed at ₹1,57,400 per kg.
Globally, spot gold fell at $3,958.18 an ounce. On Tuesday, gold prices had reached an all-time high of $3,977.45 an ounce. Gold prices rose on Tuesday, taking spot gold close to the key level of $4,000 an ounce. Spot silver fell 0.12 percent to close at $ 48.46 an ounce.

Meanwhile, gold prices touched a record high of ₹1,20,900 per 10 grams on Tuesday due to fresh buying by speculators amid strong spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold for December delivery rose by ₹651, or 0.54 per cent, to hit an all-time high of ₹1,20,900 per 10 gram. Gold contracts for February 2026 rose ₹648, or 0.53 per cent, to an all-time high of ₹1,22,231 per 10 grams. Globally, gold for December delivery rose nearly 1 per cent to cross $4,000 an ounce for the first time.

Meanwhile, a rise was also seen in silver. Silver futures for December delivery rose by Rs 281, or 0.19 percent, to Rs 1,47,800 per kg. On Monday, its price had touched a record level of Rs 1,47,977 per kg. Similarly, silver futures for delivery in March 2026 rose by Rs 327, or 0.21 percent, to Rs 1,49,500 per kg. Globally, silver futures were trading marginally lower at $48.43 an ounce.
