Gold and silver prices continue to fluctuate. Sometimes they rise and sometimes they fall. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), by the time the market closed on Tuesday, the price of 24 carat gold had fallen to Rs 1,20,419 per 10 grams. Silver also fell to Rs 1,46,150 per kg. The market will be closed on Wednesday due to Gurupurva (Guru Nanak Jayanti), hence the same prices will be valid on that day also. Meanwhile, the price of 24 carat gold fell by Rs 1,200 to Rs 1,24,100 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market on Tuesday. Silver also fell by Rs 2,500 to Rs 1,51,500 per kg. The futures price of gold on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) fell to ₹ 1,20,573 per 10 grams. Similarly, silver futures on MCX fell to ₹146,200 per kg. Globally, gold fell at $3,994.81 an ounce, while silver fell at $47.75 an ounce. What was the price of gold last day?
On Tuesday, the price of 24 carat gold fell by ₹ 1,200 to ₹ 1,24,100 per 10 grams in the bullion market of the national capital Delhi. At the same time, the price of 99.5 percent pure (23 carat) gold fell by ₹ 1,200 to ₹ 1,23,500 per 10 grams (including all taxes), continuing the falling trend for the second consecutive session. On Monday it had closed at ₹1,24,700 per 10 grams. In the last market session, gold of 99.9 percent purity had closed at ₹1,25,300 per 10 grams.
What was the price of silver last day?
Silver also fell sharply by ₹2,500 to ₹1,51,500 per kg (including all taxes) on Tuesday, while it had closed at ₹1,54,000 per kg on Monday.
Gold and silver prices in international markets
In the international market, spot gold fell by $7.84 to $3,993.65 an ounce, while silver was trading at $47.73 an ounce, down nearly one per cent.
Gold price in futures market last day
On Tuesday, a decline in the prices of gold and silver was recorded in the futures market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for December delivery fell by Rs 836, or 0.69 per cent, to Rs 1,20,573 per 10 grams. 13,332 lots were traded.
Silver price in futures market last day
Silver prices also fell. Silver futures contracts for December delivery fell by Rs 1,558, or 1.05 per cent, to Rs 1,46,200 per kg. 20,939 lots were traded.
Global Gold and Silver Futures
Globally, Comex gold futures for December delivery fell 0.48 per cent to $3,994.81 an ounce. Silver futures fell 0.62 percent to $47.75 an ounce.
