What do experts say?
The market will closely monitor US GDP, PMI, non-farm payrolls and inflation data as well as inflation data from China, Germany and India. Apart from this, signals from the US Federal Reserve regarding interest rate cuts may also impact the movement of gold and silver. Pranav Mir, Vice President of Commodity and Currency Research at JM Financial Services, says that the consolidation and recovery in gold shows that its trend remains positive, but he is more cautious about silver, because it may see sharp fluctuations and corrections in the future.
