In both these cities, the price of 24-carat gold is ₹133,850 per 10 grams and the price of 22-carat gold is ₹122,690 per 10 grams.

Experts say that if global conditions and the rupee-dollar exchange rate remain largely unchanged or the rupee weakens, the price of gold may increase by 5 to 16 percent in 2026. Domestic gold prices have already seen a 65% rise so far this year.
